What this website collects, why, and who it goes to. Written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
This policy covers granitehillsgroup.com. It describes what the website itself collects. It does not cover information you give us in the course of a service agreement, an employment relationship, or a partnership discussion, which is handled under the relevant agreement.

The short version
- We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
- We collect what you type into a form, and basic technical data every website receives.
- Our analytics are cookieless and don't identify individuals.
What we collect
Information you give us
The site has four forms. Each asks only for what's needed to respond:
- Request a Proposal — name, company, email, phone, the market and type of work, property address, and anything you write in the notes.
- Contact — name, company, email, phone, your market, the reason you're writing, property or service address, and your message.
- Careers — name, email, phone, location, the role you're interested in, and your notes.
- Better Together (for business owners) — name, company, email, phone, market, timing, and your notes.
You choose what to put in a free-text field. Please don't include sensitive personal information — health details, government identifiers, or financial account numbers — in a website form.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, ours receives technical information when a page loads: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, and the time of the request. Our hosting provider records this in standard server logs, which exist to keep the site running and secure.
We also measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless by design: it does not set a cookie, does not store anything in your browser, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build a profile of you across websites. It tells us things like how many people viewed a page and roughly where in the world they were — not who they are.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. That's why you aren't being asked to dismiss a cookie banner. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it does.
Who else receives information
We use a small number of outside services to run the site. Each receives only what it needs:
Amazon Web Services
Hosts the site and serves every page. Receives the technical request data described above, in the United States.
Cloudflare
Provides DNS and the cookieless analytics described above.
Formspree
Delivers form submissions to the right people at Granite Hills. It processes what you typed, plus the page you submitted from.
Microsoft 365
Our email. Anything you send us through a form or by email is stored in our mailboxes.
Google Fonts
Serves the typefaces the site uses. Loading a font sends your IP address to Google. No cookie is set and we send Google nothing else about you.
Breezy HR
Our job board. It doesn't run on this site — "View Open Positions" takes you to Breezy, where their own privacy terms apply.
We may also share information where we're legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Links to other sites
The site links out to places like LinkedIn, our job board, and industry publications. Following a link takes you somewhere we don't control, under their privacy terms, not ours.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to maintain a record of our dealings with you, and longer where a law, contract, or an open or anticipated legal matter requires it. Server logs and analytics are kept for the short retention periods set by the providers above.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the details below and we'll respond.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. Tell us what you're asking for and we'll treat it as a request under whichever law applies to you.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us and we limit who inside Granite Hills can see it.
Children
This is a commercial website for commercial customers, job applicants, and business owners. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say what changed rather than quietly revise the text.
