Granite Hills Group expanded into Northern Virginia through its partnership with Blade Runners Landscaping.
Founded in 1984 by Eric Storck, Blade Runners built an incredible legacy across Northern Virginia through exceptional people, long-standing customer relationships and a commitment to quality.
With more than 100 team members across Fairfax and Sterling, Blade Runners brought significant experience and leadership to Granite Hills while establishing our first operations in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
For us, the fit went far beyond geography.
Eric had choices when considering the future of the company.
What mattered to both sides was finding a path that protected the people, customer relationships and culture that made Blade Runners successful in the first place.
The existing leadership and team remained in place, backed by additional resources, expertise and opportunities through Granite Hills.
The combination grew Granite Hills to more than 500 team members across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Scale wasn’t the reason we were excited.
